El Tri in Vancouver
Mexico is one of the most passionately supported nations at any World Cup, and the 2026 tournament — co-hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico — is especially meaningful for El Tri fans. While Mexico's home group games are played in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, knockout rounds could bring the team to Vancouver's BC Place. And with the massive Mexican community and fan base in the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver will be buzzing no matter what stage Mexico is at.
This guide covers everything Mexico fans need to make the most of their time in Vancouver during the World Cup.
Mexico Match Schedule
Mexico's group stage games are hosted in Mexican cities. If El Tri advances, later rounds — Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the Final — could be played in Vancouver at BC Place (capacity 54,500). Watch for official fixture announcements as the tournament progresses.
