This is the second of Canada’s group-stage matches — the men’s national team opens in Toronto on June 12, then comes west to Vancouver to face Qatar at BC Place on June 18. It’s one of two Canada home games in Vancouver (the other is Canada vs Switzerland on June 24), and it will be one of the loudest, most emotional days of the tournament in the city. The 3 PM afternoon kickoff means a long, busy build-up downtown.
Tickets & prices
The match was not sold out heading into tournament week. On June 9, unsold tickets through FIFA ran from about $770 to $2,625 CAD, with roughly 300 remaining; official and third-party resale showed some from around $706. Prices move fast — buy only through FIFA or its official resale.
How to get into the stadium
⚠️ It’s not a normal entry
BC Place has one spectator entrance (the Pacific Boulevard side), and Stadium-Chinatown Station is closed for stadium access. Take SkyTrain to Main Street–Science World and walk the secured “Last Mile” to the gate. For a 3 PM Canada kickoff, leave extra time — this will be a big, slow crowd.
